Dear friends and benefactors,
It’s hard to believe we’re already a month into 2022! Last year was a whirlwind of speaking on behalf of the Pre-born! As a Board certified obstetrician, I am licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Alabama. I still have my private practice where I perform surgery and deliver 25 babies per month. That is my profession.
My passion, however, is traveling the Country to Pregnancy Resource Center Banquets, Churches, and Universities using Science and Scripture to prove that the Pre-born are Persons and deserving of Protection.
It all began in 1999 when I took over the practice of the largest abortion provider in Pensacola, Florida. He signed a 2-year restrictive covenant and moved back to Sweden. We immediately put an end to all abortions and abortion referrals on our first day in the office. Praise God!
I’ll never forget my first visit to the office. After Church, on a Sunday afternoon, I went to my new office by myself for the first time. I went to the second-floor surgical suite. It was still prepped for the next surgical abortion. Surgical table, abortion machine, and instruments all ready for the next procedure. I thought of the thousands of Moms that had come up the same steps that I just had, spent 30 minutes in the surgical suite, and then descended another set of stairs without the baby in their wombs. It was at that moment that ProLifeDoc.org was founded.
Today, I use the tools of modern obstetrics to show the personhood and personality of the patient in the womb. My goal is for everyone to understand that a patient is a person, no matter how small! We were all created in the Image of God at the moment of conception. (Genesis 1:26) At that moment, we are genetically unique from either parent, or any of the other 7 Billion people on the planet. The family history and genes of that one cell are identical to the genetic report that we would receive from Ancestry.com or 23andMe.com as adults today. We were knit together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:14) and set apart (Jeremiah 1:5) by God to serve His Kingdom.
It is for God’s glory and the fundamental right to life that I spend my time speaking around the world for this cause. (I even made it to Dublin, Ireland!) This map shows just how far we’ve reached in our great nation. And we’re just getting started. I am so happy to report that the calendar is quickly filling up for 2022.
Does your organization need to hear the message of Pre-born patient rights? It would be my honor to come and speak to your group – large or small. There is no more important time to stand for those who cannot speak for themselves as Proverbs 31 exhorts us to.
If we haven’t met yet, I look forward to one day having this pleasure. We are all united in this work for the Kingdom, and I’m proud to have so many of you along for the ride.
