At the end of April, Dr. William Lile, also known as the “Pro-Life Doc”, was a guest for three successive radio shows with the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI), based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Christian ministry of the JDFI is to teach biblical principles as they apply to marriage, family, and child development. So it is hardly surprising that Dr. Lile’s work on behalf of protecting and nurturing the pre-born and their mothers in his Florida obstetrics practice was a natural fit for the show. The discussion highlights the work ProLife Doc is doing to spread the message of God’s precious gift of life, and how it is everyone’s duty to protect it.
Dr. Lile tells of his own journey as a pro-life OB-GYN in Florida, taking over a practice that had, prior to his ownership, provided abortions. From that moment, he felt compelled by God to use his knowledge to embark on his pro-life ministry.
Today, Dr. Lile is one of the foremost advocates for the pre-born in the pro-life community. He incorporates his special perspective as a doctor in carrying God’s message to the world about the sanctity of life from the moment of conception, when a new person is created in God’s image. Dr. Lile shares compelling stories from both his own practice and those of other doctors around the country in carrying out life-saving medical procedures and surgeries on the pre-born. And, as Dr. Lile says, a patient is a person, no matter how small.
